Cliffside a pleasant surprise
On arrival one cant help but notice the extremely dated decor of the building, that aside the hotel was maintained to a high standard that I often dont see in UK hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room had a beautiful sea view. In addition to that our hotel had an outdoor pool and there were two hotels next to the Cliffside one with an outdoor pool the other with an indoor. All three hotel facilities are available to any guests which was really nice. If you have a bit more in your budget I would suggest staying at one of the sister hotels, but being on a budget I was more than thrilled just being able to use the other hotel services. The town centre was a bit of a walk but not bad, maybe it would be for Americans, but not any one used to a good walk. There is also a lift to take people up and down the cliff side directly to the beach.
Traveler's tip on dining
There are a lot of great places to eat, walk and explore until you find something that you fancy. It will be worth the wait and will most likely be cheaper than the easy to find touristy places.
