Nice hotel, great area
Great hotel in one of the most opulent areas of Florence.
Traveler's tip on shopping
They try to sell you a 25 euro per person trip to the discount luxury shopping district. If you really want to go ask about the bus which is 3 euros each and won’t mean you have to stay for 6.5 hrs there... I didn’t think the ’deals’ were that good, and most of the stores didn’t excite me in the least...

Good starting point for touring the city. Staff is very nice and willing to help - recommended both laundary services and good restaurant.

Albergotto - Florence’s Wonderful Hotel
Great hotel in a safe location within walking distance to Florence’s major sights and shopping. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The concierge (Lucca) always greeted us with a smile and happily assisted us with directions, restaurant recommendations or whatever we needed, he treated us like family - The best concierge service we have ever received. The rooms were comfortable and clean with all the amenities we needed. Our daily breakfast included in our rate was delicious and a great way to start our day. We would definitely stay there again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Don’t waste your vacation standing in the long 2 hr lines for the Uffizi gallery and Accademia (David). You can purchase tickets for entry later on that day or the next day at the ticket office and walk right in at your appointed time. Spend the time saved exploring beautiful Florence.
