Very Nice Place!!

Stayed 2 nights. Very clean. Good continental breakfast- We had planned to eat out for breakfast but after seeing what was available at the hotel free of charge, we filled up both mornings at Baymont- waffles, biscuits & gravy, bagels, danishes, cereal, yogurt, fruit. Location is very close to downtown, the Belle Meade plantation, and is only 15-20 minutes from Chaffin’s Barn Dinner Theater which has delightful entertainment and a great dinner buffet. Hotel staff were courteous too.

Nice Hotel

The customer service was great and the room was nice. My only complaint was the first room that we were assigned smelled like mildew. But the front desk clerk was very nice and switched our room with no problem. Also, it was right next door to Shoney’s so that was a plus.

Very clean, nice staff, quiet location and close to the highway. Overall pleasant stay.

Excellent place for the money

It wasn’t the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in: its a bit older and decor/layout leaves much to be desired and overall that made it just a bit ’weird’ quite frankly. But it WAS clean and the staff is very friendly and extremely responsive and the bed was relatively comfortable. And for the price...I wasn’t expecting much based on its relative cost to other hotels in the area but it was actually above and beyond what I expected.

Great Hotel

Came in for a Predators game. great area, 25, 30 minutes from the area.Breakfast was very good alot to chose from. Will stay here again when i come back for a hockey game

Expected More

I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. The hotel was clean and to some degree quiet. Had I known a high school sports team would be staying there the same weekend I booked, I would stayed elswhere. I expected more for the price and from the reviews and rating.

I am a diabetic. I assumed the hotel would refrigerator in the rooms. This particular hotel did not have a refrigerator in the room. Getting a good deal is wonderful however prior to booking and making reservation for any hotel make sure the hotel can accommodate any special physical or medical needs.

Great location and wonderful staff

Next time I visit this hotel I will request a non-smoking room, because my room was a smoking room and my clothes reaked of smoke by the end of the weekend. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, giving me directions to any place I wished to visit in the city.

Stoney River Steakhouse in the city of Nashville, although a little pricey, excellent entre’s and wonderful service.

Average, cheap, not far drive from Downtown

The hotel was affordable, but only average. We never got up in time for the breakfast, but there is a Shoney’s right next door. Also there is a White Castle across the street for that late night snack after partying in downtown. Only about a 10-minute drive from downtown, with easy access on and off the interstate. Free Wi-fi was nice too. Door wouldn’t close unless you pulled up on it...a little ghetto. But overall, I say 3 stars. Prob wouldn’t stay again, as we like to try new places.

There is a large used book/record/movie/music warehouse across the street that has an amazing selection and wonderful prices for you bargain shoppers.

Disappointed

Our room door did not latch when we arrived so we had to stay one night in a smoking room until something else was available the next day. As a non-smoker this was not comfortable for me.

Satisfactory

While the hotel did not stand out, it was quite satisfactory. It was comfortable and the wireless internet access worked well. It was also handy to where I needed to go. I’ll probably use it again.

It is very handy for staying if you are visiting an inmate at one of the state detention facilities in the area.

2nd Stay in this hotel

This location is great if you are going to the Sommet Center for a show or to Opry Mills Mall. Both trips have been very satisfactory. The staff is friendly. The rooms were nice. The breakfast was very good.

Hotel was clean and matained. they were doing a little renovating so there were construction people around. The staff was very attentive and they provided a good breakfast as well.Would stay again at this property.

My Stay At Baymont Nashville-West

The staff was very nice, polite, and helpful as soon as we entered the door. In fact, they even held the door open for us as we walked in. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. Checking out was a breeze and we had no troubles at all.

Faulty smoke alarm and elevator!

The smoke alarm went off at 5am in the morning, and didn’t get fixed till around 6:30am. One of the guest was tripped the smoke alarm (I dont blame them for that), but why did it have to take 1.5 hours to turn it off. On top of that, the elevator broke down for the whole morning. Thank goodness, they fixed it right before we checked out at noon. The continental breakfast fare was alright (waffle, cereal, toast, and etc).

Nashville Near West Side

The hotel, located on the near west side of nashville, could have been cleaner. Only 2 sit-down restaurants were in walking distance. Water faucet dripped all night and no provision was present for non-wireless Internet access. There was a Kroger store nearby - but the room had no fridge or microware. The room was ’musty’ smelling but the sheets were clean.

Enjoyable Stay

Other than an uninterested check-in clerk, our stay at this hotel was extremely satisfying. Upon opening the door to our room, we were greated with a very clean, cool, and wonderfully fresh smelling room. The bathrooms were the cleanest that I have experienced in a long time. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if the occasion arises for us to visit this part of Nashville again. It was located just minutes from downtown which was very convenient for us.

Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Older building with a little age, but clean. Breakfast simple, but staff kept it fresh and coffee always available.

Convenient Nashville Hotel

I chose this hotel for its convenient location. There are not a lot of hotels in this part of Nashville. The room was completely adequate for a hotel room that I did not plan to spend much time in. It was safe and clean and they do have a free breakfast every morning.
