Staff was great
We stayed 2 different times with them on this trip the 1st 3 days they had no lift. when we got back the next week it was fixed. The staff was great to work with we speak very little French, their English was very good.
You have to see all the major sites. Get the underground metro info it will not only save time but money.

Small and grungy, even by Paris standards
Dark, grungy, unbelievably small rooms. Ive been in Paris many times, and this was by far the worst hotel. It is rated as a 3 star, but was worse than 2 stars hotels in which Ive stayed. The neighborhood is great, transportation is convenient, but I would never stay at this hotel again. If you have allergies, forget it. The carpet looks like it was installed during the time of Napoleon--stained dirty blue, with peach colored walls, which the hotel calls "individually decorated." The only good thing in the room was the bathroom, which was big and roomy, and quite clean. The beds were live canoes, hard to sleep in. Overall, not a good experience.

Best Western Hotel De Weha
Hotel was great except for one odd-ball rule they have. When you leave the hotel they insist (To the point of being ridiculous about it) that you leave your room key at the front desk. The woman tried explaining to me that this was for my security. Maybe someone can explain to me how leaving my hotel room key with a stranger is for my security. Personally, even though the staff seemed like nice people, I would never stay here again just due to this outlandish policy. If I am paying for the room and the room has my valuables inside, then the key stays with me. I wish this policy would have been told to me prior to booking this hotel, because if it had, I can absolutely tell you I would not have stayed here. I really wish that someone from Best Western would contact me and explain to me why I need to keep my key at the front desk as I am now leery of staying at any Best Western.
Dont keep any valuables in your room as "you are forbidden (God help you if you try)" to leave the hotel with the room key that you paid for. You must leave your key at the front desk
