Not impressed
I would consider this a motel. We had a family room which slept 5. It had a kitchen but no microwave or stove, just a hot plate and electric skillet. The maid service was good, they kept the room clean and kept the towels coming when we needed them. The front desk was not very helpful, we needed to leave our bags after check out because we had quiet a bit of time before our airplane left and they wouldn’t let us, at our own risk, if we did. There is a shuttle,a small washer and dryer on premises,and room service but it is very expensive. They charge 20 cents per phone call local and you have to pay for internet which the signal is too low so it keeps cutting in and out.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Try and stay closer to the city of Auckland. This hotel is near the airport about 30-40 minutes from the city. If you plan to go to the city often it is easier to be closer because of the traffic and the driving is on the opposite side, a little nerve wracking.
