Wonderful, old-time ambiance with great service
We enjoyed our stay from the moment we arrived with cordial, receptionists at the desk, easy parking behind the hotel, good food in the dining room, clean room and maid service. Would stay there again.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Easy walk to downtown Boise where they had a farmer’s market with food, crafts, etc.--even a doggie parade they have annually. Thoroughly pleasant with many good restaurants and sidewalk cafes.

Great location, great price for somewhere to lay your head.
The hotel was comfortable. The bathrooms were outdated and not overly clean. My bedding was also not clean so we needed to move rooms. The staff was outstanding! Restaurant was great. The location was wonderful.

Location,Location,Location
One of the best locations if you plan on enjoying downtown Boise. The hotel is very old but in good shape. We were on the 3rd floor and had a view from are window (no balcony) and the window that opens is very small. The bedroom was a nice size and clean. We had a deluxe room and were told it had a newer TV, bed and sheets. The bathroom was very small and needed updating. The hotel has closed one of my favorite nighttime resturants "The Gamekeeper" but the all day resturant is open. With are room was a free full Breakfest 2 choices but they still changed us for the coffee. Listened to some great jazz one night in the Bar. The free Van from the airport was easy and comfortable
