Good hotel
A little out of the way to get to downtown N.O. but affordable and nice. Right next to a casino.

Not what i expected.
The hotel was not that close to the airport and was not in an interesting area. There was a lack of sound proofing that made the stay less enjoyable. Unless you intend to gamble (it is by the casino) I would not recommend this place, especially given the deals available elswhere.

Kinda noisy
My only complaint was that you can here everyone in the halls and you can hear the people upstairs walking around. Other than that, the room was very clean and the bed and pillows were
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you like to gamble, the Treasure Chest Casino is very near and the free shuttle is available to transport you back and forth. See the front desk for the time frame. (Convention Center adjacent to hotel which hosts some events for a charge.) Also if you have a car, there are many restaurants on Williams Blvd. and adjacent Veterans Blvd.
