Wonderful way to wind down
We stayed at the Whitehall on the last day of our trip to Great Britain. After the hustle and bustle of a 13 day coach tour and two more days in London trying to see all we could, our stay here is the quiet countryside was a great way for us to wind down. The garden in back is pretty and peaceful. The hotel food was well prepared and presented. The hotel is well away from any other source of food so it’s a good thing that the food is good.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
There is a wonderful old stone country church, built in 1220, right next door. The associated cemetary was quiet and peaceful and featured flower gardens on top of the graves.
