It is fair for the price we paid
The hotel is old and not fancy at all. It was good value for the price we paid. The front desk was very helpfull, we could check in very early and check out late with no extra cost. The location is great, easy to get to from the train station through tram or bus and walking distance to old town. Not fancy or pretty but fair. Would go back again.

Enjoyed this hotel
My daughter and I stayed at the Cravovia in October and totally enjoyed our visit. The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk into the city center. It is a nice pleasant walk. The front desk staff was VERY helpful and they were always available to help us. The breakfast was nice but not included in the price of the hotel. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Close to main square; Nothing fancy, but good enough for price.
This is a sufficiently good hotel, and its about a 7 minute walk to the city center. If youre more interested in touring than a cushy ambiance, I recommend this hotel. However, it was hot in the room, you had to rent a hair dryer if you needed it, there was no screen on the window (found that out when I looked up to see a hundred little bugs flying towards my room light). Still, its convenient enough, and the price is reasonable.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
This city was the capital of Poland before it was largely destroyed in the war, and a lot of beautiful buildings and historical sites can be found here. The biggest tourist attraction is Wawel, an impressive, huge castle worth visiting. You may also want to ask the front desk about taking a bus (only a few dollars) to the salt mine in Wieliczka. They depart numerous times a day outside of the main mall.
