Decent hotel
Overall my stay was comfortable and my room had a nice view of the creek and the boats. The service was fine although they did screw up my refund for a night as I mistakenly booked an extra night.. expedia gave me a coupon for future use so I am fine. This is a good location if you want to visit the old Dubai and the gold market which is walking distance.

Du has a good package for purchasing a local SIM so that you have phone while you are in Dubai. Around AED49-56 with credit on the pre-paid card..

Everything was fine except there was no hot water in the sink and shower. At best it was luke warm.
