Except for the Upgrade Hassel, impecable service and friendliness
I really liked the idea of being close to the town of Playa Del Carmen instead of bing in a large complex that you could only leave via taxi. However I really hated the upgrade hassels they put you through on arrival after a long plane ride and from the airport. I think they show everyone the worst room possible to get you to upgrade to another room or hotel. However we were really happy being close to the ocean with views. The hotel staff were very frindly and everything was really close by. I even thought the food was nice and fresh compared to some other all inclusives we have stayed at. I liked the fact this hotel was more intimate and no big crowds anywhere. This may have had something to do with the stormy weather and hurricane Ida while we were there, but none the less a very relaxing place to stay. Since we never stay in the same hotel twice, I can say we will try another hotel next visit. I loved the bar service at the beach. Other all-inclusives we had to walk all the way to the bar even for a drink of water, but here, our glasses were never empty and Jesus kept the cocktails coming all day.
Skip the month of November until hurricane season is over.

Honeymoon
Everything was excellent...from the hotel to the staff to the location. We could not have asked for a better honeymoon. I have recommended this resort to all my friends already.
The food was excellent. I was afraid the food was going to be bad, because most all inclusives are, but not this one. All of the food was delicious...except, stay away from the hamburgers.
