Good location, dated rooms
The Coptorne Birmingham is very centrally located in the city and is a smaller hotel (compared to the Hyatt or Holiday Inn). Restaurant was quite good for dinner, and breakfast buffet was extensive. The rooms are somewhat worn and definitely need updating. There are very good restaurants and extensive shopping within walking distance. The Birmingham museum is also very close.

Excellent experience
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Copthorne Birmingham. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable, and the hotel staff could not have been more pleasant and accomodating, no matter how many times I inadvertently deprogrammed my room key with my mobile phone. I will definitely stay here again.

The Copthorne rocks!
I stayed here with a friend last weekend and it gave us all the pampering we were needed and more!...fantastic location near the Art Museum, large public squares, and the train station. In fact, I liked it so much I’m going back in a few weeks. All that was missing was a traditional English breakfast included in the cost ....but it is near all kinds of coffee bars and restaurants.
