newcastles finest!
i was extremely pleased with all aspects of the hotel. great views, friendly staff, clean crisp rooms, and the pool and hot tub just tipped the scales. would love to go back.

Underwhelmed
Despite convenient location I cannot recommend this hotel. Over priced for services offered. Front desk staff, though courteous, were lacking in training and/or experience. Concierge hopeless.

Nice in Newcastle
Can’t beat the location on the Quay. Newcastle is the go-to location for stag and hen parties in the UK. On weekends you can expect to see odd costumes and well-lubricated party folk about. Internet access is a bit strange. You can access it from the TV through your room at an exorbitant rate or buy a daily wireless access card for 2.50 pounds and use the wireless in the lobby. Much better than the typical European hotel hosing.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
Walk down the river toward the Millennium Bridge about 100 meters to Lloyd’s for a quick pint. Noisy and boisterous, but very reasonable at less than two pounds for some beers.
