Awful
Filthy bathroom with colonies of black moulds. Useless sound insulation. Wait-staff were untrained.

Posted: 28-Oct-09Thanks for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Copthorne Aberdeen. I do regret that you did not enjoy your stay on this occasion. We do have several new members of our Food & Beverage team, so if you feel there are training issues I would appreciate it if you would contact the manager while you are still on site. With regards to the bathrooms, we are currently undertaking an in-house maintenance programme in order to upgrade parts of guest bedrooms which may have been neglected during the past few years when the hotel has been extremely busy. I appreciate that your feedback reflects an unpleasant stay with us but I do hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the future if you are in the area.

Sorta Okay
When we first checked in, we were given the conference room with a pull down murphy bed! The room had a closet full of markers, paper, and tea. The room was the size of four hotel rooms. There was no minibar in the room. It was awful. We were given another room after requesting one, but this room had a broken heater and the maintance person wasn’t in until 9 am the next morning. After a chilly night, the rest of the stay was nice. The breakfast was great, and the staff was very nice about trying to fix the problems we had.

Over rated and over priced
Poor hotel. Parking is a joke. Few spaces crammed in the basement. Tiny rooms. No ventilation except small window that only opened a few inches. Internet service didn’t work. Breakfast price was robbery. Wouldn’t stay here again if they paid me.
