nice stay
staff was very friendly und helpful. breakfast buffet was excellent. could not condition the room myself.the room was to warm. allover a very good price value relation.

Lack of service
Our first night in Germany we arrived late to the hotel at 11:30. We had booked two rooms for a family of five but when we got to the rooms one of the AC’s did not work and the other was weak at best. Friendly inquiries to the front desk were met with ambivilance at first and after 2 minutes of discussion some aggresiveness on the part of the night clerk who was unable/willing to change rooms, offer a discount for the family piling into one room, or help coordinate a solution. Unfortunately we were all so tired that we all stuffed into the one weak AC room and spent our first night in Germany sweating it out, all together. I had booked a name brand hotel with the express hope that our first night would be a smooth as possible. The hotel is dated and the staff (at least a night) need some serious attitude adjustment. Fortunately Expedia was helpful after the fact in restitution, but this first encounter with Germany definately put a damper on the rest of our vacation. Do not stay at this hotel.
