Hotel Uppsala goes the extra mile
I arrived in Uppsala in the morning after a transatlantic flight which featured some little moppet kicking the back of my chair all the way across, a rhythmic act punctuated by mommy’s ineffectual instructions: "Stop kicking that chair!" As a result, I was a bit of a wreck when I stumbled into Hotel Uppsala at 9am, expecting to check my bags, then wander around the city in stupor the rest of the day. The clerk at the desk took one look at me, then found me an open room and checked me in letting me get a couple of hours sleep before my first meeting. World class service and care for the traveller! Tak så mycket!

Love Uppsala
This was a great place to stay while visiting my daughter who was studying at the University. Very clean and modern. Great breakfast every morning. Walking distance to everything - restaurants, shopping, site seeing and the train. Very non-descript from the outside, but fun, comfortable and clean on the inside.
