Not Impressed
The hotel really needs an upgrade. There was water leaking from the top level to the bottom floor. The room had a stinch almost like mildew. The curtains looked as it they hadn’t been changed out or washed in years. The breakfast bar isn’t worth the walk. The best thing going was the yogurt which they had limited quantities. We requested additional towels for the 4 people in our room. We were told they only had 3 sets and would get us another set later. ??#??/*#!! It isn’t worth it not even for the budget. I would have paid more money had I know the room was going to look like this. I guess I got what I paid for!!
Great location if you plan to visit Virginia Beach and Busch Gardens. They are both in great traveling distance. However, head out to these locations early. Highway traffic is usually backed up and it will take you an hour to get somewhere that normally takes 15 minutes!!

TERRIBLE
I have been staying at this hotel off and on for the last 6 years. It has gone down to the point where I will never stay there again! The room was barely cleaned. The tub was so dirty I had to take a shower with shoes on. When we asked the front office about it they told us that’s the way it looks due to the non-slip mat. I can tell the difference in dirt and a mat. If they used just a little bleach it would have come clean. If I wanted to stay in a run down hotel I chose the right one. They need to inspect the rooms before guest come to stay there. If it is not somewhere they would stay then they should make things right!

Will never stay at this hotel again
We were at this hotel from 9/14/09 till 9/17/09. The staff was very nice, but the outside was filthy, the TV reception was limited to about 12 channels, there were no newspapers available, nor did they have shampoo in the rooms or coffee for two days. My husband and I will never again stay at this place.
