Good price for good location

The hotel is very nice, quiet and clean. The stuff is very helpful and friendly. Good location, close to the Zoo and in walking distance to the metro and busses. Low price for the rooms but you have to calculate in extra costs for breakfast, internet excess and parking. Overall a very good hotel.

Nice hotel

Equipped with everything you need, reception open 24 hours, good service. Located in Kudamm, quite close to U-Bahn, S-Bahn and bus stops. Zoologischer Garten reachable by foot in 10 minutes through the shops of Kudamm. I recommend it.

Good for families. We were 4 people. King bed plus sofa-bed plus an additional small bed. Room quite silent despite being on the road.

great location and service!

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved the hotel!!! It’s very close to U and S-trains of the Zoological station. The hotel itself is clean, the staff is friendly. The only thing we wish would be better is the computer -- we were not able to open word or any other Microsoft Office applications which was very inconvenient, and the internet is not free. Other than that, the staff was brilliant!

The nearest subway is about 15 minutes away but it’s quite normal for Berlin, since it’s a huge city.

Nice hotel in great location!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This hotel is a block away from a street with numerous restaurants and shops -- and very convenient to the underground and "Hop-On Hop-Off" bus stop.

can’t wait to go back

Great location. Staff very helpful and pleasant. A buffet breakfast that can carry you through to dinner on a busy day of seeing the city.

Good Location and Service

The Hotel has an excellent location close to the main shopping areas of Berlin. Good restaurants in the area. Budget hotel with good service, would return.

A good budget option

The hotel is fine, but the neighborhood is in transition. There were some stores that were boarded up nearby, moreso than other parts of Berlin.

Excellent low cost hotel

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Breakast was good, and more importantly lastd till noon. The room was clean and comfortable. The reception desk was quite good and helpful, particularly useful giving suggestions. Our room was ovelooking the main street. This can be noisy if the windows are open. Be careful in hot weather since there are no air conditioning.

Very clean and well located

A simple place that was clean with a very good breakfast and near the epicenter of the city. I found it to be exceptionally clean. I traveled with a couple and saw their room. My room (for one person) was very small (including the shower and bathroom) while their room was quite spacious. If room is important, make sure you specify this to management or book for two people per room.

Not Impressed

This hotel is for sleeping only, You can’t do anything therer no resturant, no Bar, nn entertainment not even English TV except for CNN. If you’re out all day and need just a comfort place to sleep then go to this hotel. If you like to stay sometime in your hotel room watching TV, meeting somebody then the hotel is not for you

There’s no night life in Berlin unless you want to go to Bars everything close by 08:00PM weekday or 10:00PM friday & Saturday even movie theatres.

Recommend this hotel

This hotel look as if it was the apartment. Rooms are large and relatively clean. This hotel is located in the vicinity of Kudam street,the famous shopping street,at Berlin. This hotel has a few parking lot. Car paring is somewhat difficult.

It is great budget hotel.

The room is large enough--even comparing those in the US.Breakfast was great. You can walk to metro station.

Very lovely hotel in teh center of teh western part of Berlin,friendly and helpful staff;outstanding breakfast, the best we have ever had in Europe;large rooms, modest dercorations but very clean, comfortable beds.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Do not miss your opportunity to book dinner and concert in Charlottenburg through Expedia.It was on of the highlights of the trip;hop on/off buses are just two blocks walk from the hotel; museum "The Story of Berlin" is very unusual but worth visiting.Do not miss "Gemaldegallery",it is breath taking ( make sure that you have at least two hours to spend there).

Great Hotel

This hotel is one block from the main shopping street of Berlin and a few blocks from the train station. Also, the complimentary breakfast was outstanding. Great Locatation, Large rooms, and a really LARGE bathroom! I would highly recommend it!

Good location, clean, and courteous staff

Good location near Kurfurstendamm street and the Kaiser-Wilhelm Church. About 10 min walk from the U-Bahn. Nice, courteous staff and large, clean rooms. Hearty breakfast included. The only bad thing I can say is that the hot water for showers was not hot around mid-morning.

Great location

I’ve stayed here twice and I really have enjoyed my stays. The rooms are large, the beds comfortable, the bathrooms spacious and the breakfast great. It’s very convenient to shopping and transport and the staff is very helpful. LOts of good restaurants nearby, plus the best coofee shop nearby on Uhlandstrasse! Probably my only complaint is that the pillows are too flat.
