Good hotel
The room is silent and confortable. The consierge was taken care of us very much.

Room With a View and Friendly Staff
The St. Moritz Grand Mercure was an excellent find. The hotel sits on a small hill overlooking the lake. The rooms were big, the bed had a pillowtop mattress cover that cradled you in a sleeping slumber and the staff were ever most helpful from suggesting restaurants to describing the local wines in the restaurant. This alpine gem could not have been better.

Excellent accomodation
Although the view was of concrete it was extremely clean, comfortable, accomodating to my requests and convenient.

Not impressed
The hotel is ok. It’s somewhat antique without the modern luxuries. The view from a lakeview room was so-so. A little piece of the lake was visible.

Excellent views (from our room) and great location
An enjoyable experience. Excellent service (which is NOT always the case in the New Zealand service industry), nice decor and a fun restaurant & bar. The only improvement area would be a slightly more knowledgeable concierge (about local restaurants).

Quiet with great views
When we arrived they were unable to find our reservation. After a bit of a wait the problem was solved, and we were given an upgraded room to make up for any inconvenience, which I thought was very generous. The hotel was much as you would expect. Very comfortable with lovely views from the lakeside rooms. The restaurant also had lovely views.
