We loved Arthur!
This hotel was such a wonderful place to stay. We felt very welcome and well taken care of. The grounds were gorgeous and the castle itself was very old world. I would highly recommend Ballyseede to anyone looking for a nice, leisurely stay in a castle.

Worth it for one night
It is a bit more expensive than I would typically pay for a hotel for the night. However, it was well worth it for the experience. It was an awesome castle and the furnishings were very period related, however with modern bathrooms. The food was wonderful and the bar was very cozy and a great place to meet fellow guests (which I wouldn’t generally do either). A very comfortable and cozy stay.

Castle stay
Hotel had a lovely breakfast. But, they had a party and noise both nights of our stay. One lasted to past 1 am and another till 5am in the morning. We finally called and complained and the noise still did not stop. Cannot recommend this castle for a restful sleep. Also, the rooms were poorly cleaned.
