Good Location with Good Service
This is a nice hotel that is conveniently located in Gothenburg. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was well presented with good food. It was summer; there was A/C in the room, but it was too cold for me. I had to use blanket to cover the air opening to reduce amount of cold air from coming in to the room. It worked. There were 21 hours of daylight and it was hard for us to sleep with light sneaking in through 2 layers of draperies. We did not know that there were mini-blinds outside the window that can keep the room dark. We only noticed that minutes before we left. Too bad for the late discovery! Mattresses were too soft for us.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
Buy a Gothenburg Pass for 245 SEK, plan your day with help from staff in the Travel Information Office, and experience many interesting places in one day. The Horticulture Society Park by the canal is free after the official hours. You only pay once for a museum for 40 SEK and can enjoy all public museums in 2009. Buy a bus ticket from places like 7-11 for 100 SEK and get free transfer for 90 minutes. You can take tram and ferry to the the most beautiful island, Vrango.

It’s OK
The staff was very professional. The room was the size of a coffin, and a bit noisy at night. The breakfast was great.

Best breakfast ever
A good, relatively cheap hotel with a great location in Gothenburg. The room was small but still comfortable. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in Scandinavia.
