Great choice in central Oslo
I have stayed at the Scandic Oslo Kna a number of times and have always been very pleased with the hotel. The location is great, right next to the National Theatre Train Station and away from the chaos of Karl Johan’s Gate. The rooms are comfortable and have refrigerators, free WiFi and televisions with pay-per-view movies (which I didn’t try). The breakfast is always good. The only negative experiences I had this time were the following: - I stayed on 2 occasions during this trip. The second time, I had a room on the 6th floor and the WiFi signal was very weak, too weak to use. - Sunday morning breakfast at 10:15 a.m. (they stop serving at 11) was crazy and they were having trouble keeping up with the demand so they kept running out of food, coffee, etc.

Not bad but I would try somewhere else next time
Reception personnel were erratic, some informed, some not. Stayed at beginning and end of my trip. On second stay, arrived very late and there was trouble finding me a room. Ended up in a very large room (looked like a conference room) no telephone, no mini-bar and housekeeping staff did not make beds, clean the room on our 2nd and last day there. On the up side, they had a spectacular breakfast.
