25th Wedding Anniversary Trip
This was a very nice hotel. The price seemed appropriate for the type of hotel and the city of Munich. We loved the location, since you can walk out the door and into the underground - no need for a car here! You will probably want to get breakfast on the street - nice buffet, but VERY overpriced.

Oktoberfest 2009
Arriving early in the morning from an overnight flight from Atlanta, and knowing check in was not until 3 PM, I called the hotel and the receptionist was super helpful in advising the best way for tired travelers not familiar with the public transportation and loaded down with luggage (they suggested a taxi which was not cheap but easily the best way to get there and we had the good fortune to have a great taxidriver to introduce us to Munich) and to make things even better, they had the room ready for us by 9:30 AM! No extra charge! The Club Lounge which came with our booking was a lovely treat every day we were there, and the easy access to the subway and to the Theresienwiese made our stay and first Oktoberfest experience really memorable!
