SOLID HOTEL, better than most in Torre
This a a solid beach resort hotel... They do everything well and you will be happy, although maybe not inspired.... The staff was very nice and English was no problem... Our room had so-so internet wi-fi connection but that was about the worst thing I could say... The hotel is a tour group hub so if you are into a day excursion they set it up for you nice and easy.... Beach and fun across a few feet away... The Torre Promenade is really really nice and the beach was fantastic... You are "close" to the town center... but like all hotels on the beach this requires some good walking up steps... Take a stroll up the path with the stores/shops/eateries instead... Pool: We did not use the pool at all.... the beach was busy till 7pm or later so justy stayed there.... As an alternative... I’d look at the "DON" hotel group... Only a few blocks down the promenade but it seemed to have a bit more character and flair for about the same cost... OR look at a hotel on the PLAYA CARRRIHUELA side of town... this was a bit more "spanish" with better places to eat and closer to BENALMEDINA MARINA and Nightlife... Hotel Melia Costa del Sol did a very nice job and we were happy.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
GO TO BENALMEDINA MARINA! Cab ride is about 15e ... Go to the MARINA and you will find plenty of choices and good mix of locals and visitors... I was really dissapointed in Torre Nightlife... I heard so much about the all out party... the beach was fun but I honeslty dont know where everyone dissapeared to at night... Maybe it was still a bit early in the season but still...

Very professional, convenient to everything, comfortable
This hotel is conveniently located right on the beach, with all rooms facing the water. You can easily walk to shopping, restaurants, and sites in Torremolinos. It’s right on the Paseo Maritimo which stretches for miles along the beach towns in this area. The staff is responsive and can make many arrangements for you, such as daily excursions. Although we stayed as a couple, there were many families with young children who found this hotel convenient.
Traveler's tip on dining
The hotel’s dinner buffet is very good. For dinners outside the hotel, try Asador Baccus and Matahambre, both on Calle Las Mercedes just a few blocks from the top of the "stairs". We also enjoyed La Escalera, which is right along the stairs.
