Comfort & luxury
The hotel is very clean and nicely decored. Rooms are classy & comfortable. It faces the Andalucia parliament building. Service is less consistent, some front desk ladies are very helpful, while some not so. The roof top pool is the gem of this hotel. Breakfast buffet is nice. It’s also within walking to Alameda de Hercules.
Traveler's tip on nightlife
It’s a bit far from the old town. Avoid using the sight scene bus to get there as the sight scene bus stop is at least 10 minutes walk. Very close (less than 5 mins walk) to Alameda de Hercules where restaurants and bars are.

Service - Hmmm?
Our experience at the hotel was in general okay. Unfortunately there was a large conference group staying at the hotel while we were there, so our experience may have been better in quieter times!Our concerns were mostly that the staff were at best indifferent, and at times even surly. The opening times for hotel facilities were also not ideal for people on holidays as we were. For example, the pool did not open until 12 noon and there was no way to get a cool drink, and the coffee shop did not open until 10:30 either.

Great Hotel
It is a great hotel. I have stayed here 3 times. The location is nice but, about a 30 minute walk to the cathedral. Getting a taxi is very easy, just outside the main entrance.
