Bilbao
This hotel is in great location however they do not have wireless Internet and charge 3 euros for 15 min. to use the lobby computer. I requested a room facing the street but was given a back room facing a wall. Room was clean.

Great location!
Spent 2 nights here in November 2008. The room was comfortable and fairly big for a city-center hotel. The best aspect of this hotel is the location, next to Bilbao’s old town. It was very convenient for sampling the city’s pixto bars in the evening. We walked across town to the Guggenheim--about a 15-20 minute walk, a pleasant tour of the city.

central and affordable
A modern hotel with old world charm located in the central part of town next to the Ria Nervion and the Caso Viejo, this charmer has everything you need. Location is everything in Bilbao and this hotel has it. Blocks from the Gran Via and El Corte Ingles department store. Close to many "Alamentaciones" to stock up for evening snacking or a mini-bar refrigerator ($$$$$). Easy walks to Guggenheim and the Funicular to Artxanda. Gym close by (Gimnasio de Arenal). Train station, tram and buses within blocks. And, the best of all---the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in Europe (been there 23 times). Highly recommended.
