Very convenient hotel
It’s medium size hotel, well communicated and located, near the golf court, the "Rambla" and restaurant. Very important: it’s a very quiet hotel. Staff is very helpful and kind.

Ideal Hotel for business in Montevideo
The Tryp Hotel Montevideo is actually named the Melia Comfort Montevideo and it is part of the Melia Chain of hotels from Spain. Wi-fi, room service, gym, pool and all of the conveniences expected of a US hotel in South America. Highly recommend for business travelers in Montevideo.

Somewhat budget, in a fancy area
Complimentary breakfest (continental), free parking, one block from the fancy Punta Arenas shopping mall, a few steps from the golf club (if that matters anyway), great service level, and the most important quality in a hotel: clean.

Don’t worry if you get there and find a "Melia" hotel instead, you’re in the right place. I guess they didn’t change the banners yet.
