A strange hotel
One of the problems with the internet is that hotels that are rather ordinary can be made to look fantastic. I needed a Hotel near the train station, and the Madison was built as a Hotel and sports club, so I jumped at the opportunity. unfortunately, the hotel was a maze (created by joining several building together), there was strange stair leading to the gym, pool, spa and I got lost several time. The hotel smelled of smoke (I found staff smoking indoors) and it was really unclean. If your a backpacker, then you might think it is interesting, but if you are in town for business go to a real hotel. General warning - be careful about hotels near train stations. Surprizingly, they hang a "expedia" recommended sign in the hotel, expedia might want to get that back.
