American Style Comfort At A Reasonable Price
As a frequent business traveler to Napoli, I have stayed in many hotels in the city. This Ramada equals in comfort much more expensive Italian hotels, and is a great value overall. Less than 10 minutes from the train station by foot, this Ramada is an a neighborhood not pretty to look at - but safe and convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful, the wireless internet (Swisscom) is sufficiently fast and reliable, and the rooms ar spacious and the beds comfortable. Ramada is now my only choice for accomodations in the city.
A five minute walk away adjoining the train station is the private railway, Circumvesuviano, which goes to Herculeneum, Pompeii and Sorrento. After a day or two of surveying the remarkably preserved ruins, visit the Naples Museum for a breathtaking look at artifacts extracted from Pompeii.

One the nicest hotels in Naples
Everything was satisfactory in this hotel. Very nice breakfast buffet, the personnel at the front desk as well as the housekeeping were always ready to assist us with any request we had. We liked the fact they provide Internet. The area is dirty and as in most places its wise to be aware of thieves.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
We had no idea of the many places of interest that Naples offers. If you move away from the train station or the airport, youll get to see a different Naples.

Do not stay here
Do not stay here, in fact do not stay anywhere in Naples. Consider Sorrento instead. Yes its right across the street from the train station and not too far from the airport but it lack everything else. We were told they had an arrangement for a fixed cab fare to the airport and instead got there and were told to pay more. The rooms are ugly with outdated wall paper. No in room menu for room service, you have to go to the elevator to retrieve. They said on checking enjoy Naples, its beautiful. It was by far the worst and most dangerous city of any we had been in in Italy on our 3 week trip. Avoid this hotel.
