At the foot of the ancient Norman town of Monreale, the Baglio Conca d'Oro Hotel rises among the ruins of an old '700 century papermill located in the very old village of 'Pietra Molara'.. ... Pietra Molara is located along the way to the Land of Piana, close to Monreale. The village you can see with its papermill and parish-church, dedicated to S. Giuseppe, was founded in the 1740 by the President of Real Heritage, Sir Biagio De Spuches, who wanted to name it 'Terra del Giglio' (lilium land) from his family coat of arms... (from 'Palermo d'oggi giorno' by Marchese di Villabianca) This hotel has 27 rooms finaly furnished in Sicilian '800 style; it offers private services and four indoor halls and an open air courtyard to celebrate ceremonies, meetings and conferences
