Great LOCATION, very nice hotel
Excellent location. Food in hotel is overpriced (but aren’t they all), but since there are plenty of nearby restaurants and even a supermarket nearby this was not an issue. Some noise from the horse hoofs clopping by carrying the tourists in the carriages - but that just added to he charm for us. Brugges is a beautiful city, and this was a great central location from which to explore on foot. Hotel also provided a discount card which gave discounts in the main museums and even on the canal cruises.

Convenient, budget-chic
Selected Martin’s Brugge based on web reviews and it lived up to the hype -- extremely well-located, clean, no-fuss, great value for the rate. Bonuses included: lovely courtyard, half-price happy hour with local beer, discounts (apparently offered by most hotels in Brugge) for virtually all museums/bikes/boats, in-room fridge. Service was friendly and made everything seamless.
