clean but most certainly not in the heart of Florence!
The hotel is like your average american hotel and they have a pretty nice breakfast buffet- when it’s stocked. But otherwise it’s far away from Florence. Stay here if you’re renting a car, otherwise you’ll have to walk at least 10 minutes to the closest "train station" (a platform) and it’s rather desolate after dark. They say it’s in a business district, but it’s more like an industrial area. No easy access to buses or taxis. Good luck getting around without a car!

decent hotel
Pros... our room had a stocked mini bar, and decent satellite reception. there were some movies in english. bed was comfortable and clean. in room air/heat control. very good price for the quality of service. staff spoke good english( enough to help us) and provided plenty of info. shopping mall a very short distance from hotel ( american shopping mall style) and close to the train station. Cons.. is a slight distance from Florence, need to take a train, Bus, or car to get to it. the resturant is over-priced, and doesnt really offer too much.
