Would definitely return
My husband and I recently spent 13 nights at the Royal Garden Apartments. Our room was on the garden side and was quiet, comfortable and well-equipped. The apartments are very well-located in Edinburgh within easy walking distance of many of the cities major attractions, as well as restaurants, pubs, grocers, pharmacies, and department stores. With regard to the staff, we them to be consistently very courteous and helpful.

Loved our stay.
We loved our stay, the room was great and the service was excellent...no matter what time of day or what the request. The Royal Apts. are conveniently located to good food, shopping and all the sights. Highly recommended.

A Jewel in Edinburgh’s Crown
The Royal Garden Apartments was the best choice we could have made for our trip to Edinburgh. Less than a mile from the Royal Mile, it is in easy walking distance from area pubs, shopping, and tourist attractions. The rooms are large and comfortable. The staff is friendly and quick to offer assistance (reservations, directions, recommendations, etc.). I have stayed at other hotels in Edinburgh that were more expensive and closer to the Royal Mile, but I have never enjoyed a European hotel as much as the Royal Garden Apartments. I will definately stay there again.
Be prepared to do a lot of walking to get around.
