Delightful for Tourists
However the WIFI signals were so faint as to be non-existent and a ten Euro a day rented Internet adapter was painfully slow, leading to much wasted time during the six day stay at the otherwise delightful Barberini. The front desk was both helpful and accommodating.
The private, yet metered taxis, called by our hotel and by our restaurants were quick and wonderful.

Very nice hotel
This hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast is a good start to the day. Plus the view from the breakfast room is excellent. The rooms are typical european, so they are a bit smaller, but still enough room to move around easily and nicely decorated. The bathroom was big and very nice. For dinner the two nights we were there we asked for recommendations from the front desk, and the restaurants were great. We found we could easily walk to most of the attractions from the hotel. The trevi fountain and the spanish steps are very easy to get to. From there many other attractions are not far, or you can take the bus if you are lucky enough to get a map of the routes. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Do not eat at the restuarants that are either: 1-have someone outside trying to get you to come in. 2- have pictures of the food on the menu’s. 3- go a few blocks away from the main tourist attractions for the better fare. 4- listen to hear if actual italians are eatting there. We found some real gems based on these tips, so we wanted to pass them on.

Beautiful!
A lovely hotel, convenient location near Spanish Steps and other sites. Room was very nicely appointed, small but a decent size for European standards. Large modern bathroom. The rooftap restaurant for breakfast was a very nice way to start the day. Would return there for another stay in the future.

Great hotel. Great location.
Hotel Barberini was in a great location, within walking distance of most of the ancient sites in Rome. The hotel itself was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely stay there again if I go back to Rome.

Great location great service
We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The staff at the Front Desk and in the Restaurant are exceptional. The location is great the rooms are clean. We would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel, excellent service, helpful staff and a good location.
From the moment of arrival after a very long cab ride we were met with courtesy and helpfulness. This continued throughout our stay of 4 days. The Terrace for breakfast is almost breathtaking for it’s view of Rome. The rooms were very comfortable and always clean and freshened up. The front desk staff was most helpful with any request we had. Couldn’t recommend this hotel any higher if you are looking for location, intimate feel, cleanliness and caring staff.

Hotel Staff was impressive
Room was pretty small and the bed was a bit firm, but it seems this is normal for euro travel. It was really nice though. The hotel did not have an official concierge, but the staff at the front desk went above and beyond to help us during our three day stay.

Nice hotel, great location
Very nice hotel. The staff spoke excellent English and were very accomodating. The bed was little on the hard side and the room was rather small. Prices at the bar were outrageous though!
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Near the Trevi Fountain and the Bernini Fountains and very close to the Spanish Steps. Lots of restaurant choices. Stay away from the Sistina Tavern, overpriced and disappointing meal.

Barberini Hotel excellent!
Very nice very clean well kept hotel. Excellent guest services, plus free breakfast buffet on rooftop with nice views!

Would Stay here again
I travelled with myself and three children,we had a family room,it was small but very comfortable.It is ideally located to all the top sightseeing spots. We walked everywhere!Beautiful breakfast room on top floor with gorgeous views.Our room faced the street with the only balcony,but it was a bit loud with traffic noise.
