Small but charming
This hotel is located 10 minutes from the Roma Termini station. It is a perfect location for walking to all destinations such as the coliseum, roman forum, spanish steps, trevi fountain. We also walked to Campo de Fiore. We took the metro to the Vatican which was very simple to use. The room was small, I wont lie about that. My husband had to turn sideways to enter the shower and my elbow kept hitting the faucet causing the water temp to change... but the hotel had personality. We had a wonderful view from our window of the opera house. To be honest - we were in Rome! We spent only our sleeping hours in the hotel. The bed was hard, but you are so tired from being out all day - that you sleep well anyway. We would definately stay here again. It had free continental breakfast, internet wouldnt work in our room but did in the lobby so wed sit on the couches and check our email. The staff at the front desk was helpful and they even checked us in at 9:00 am - as we had requested an early check-in. I would recommend for couples or individuals who are in Rome to explore. If you have children - the rooms are pretty small for a family.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
From my reading and other "tips"... go to the Vatican Museum at 12:30 pm. We walked right in. After the museum, walk to the Basilica. The wait at security is about 30 minutes. The Vatican clears out at 12:30 as everyone heads to lunch. Perfect time to squeeze in without the hastle of the crowds!

Great hotel at great price
Very clean, very nice staff, good Euro style breakfast, good bed sheets, large shower for Italy standards. Bed was too hard but that is also typical Europe. AC is not as cold as we are used to in USA but still made a huge difference in hot summer. Most important thing to be aware of is that there are 22 steps up to the reception floor. There is a tiny elevator then to the room floors. We walked from train station and took about 15 minutes maximum dragging luggage. Hotel desk called a taxi for us to get to FCO airport and it was 40 Euro only.

Very good value for your money
Fairly good Hotel, close to Termini Station. Quiet neighborhood. Not far from main attractions.
