Exceptional service from Vicky, front desk staff.
After clearing security and gate assignment at the Athens airport, I discovered my personal documents were left in my room safe. We contacted the Electra hotel with less than hour to board the aircraft enroute to the United States, Vicky obtained the document, a taxi driver, and managed to get them to me as we were boarding the aircraft. She and the taxi diver were persistent in getting the documents to me.

Best Location
If you want to stay at a hotel that is walking distance to all the great sites, this is it. in the center of the plaka, very safe, even to walk around at night. the base of the acropolis, hadrian’s arch and other sites are all within a 5 minute walk. the hotel was very clean. the bed was hard as a rock and a little small, but it is big enough to sleep in. the shower stall was designed very poorly having the controls stick out, so showering was not comfortable. overall, good. would stay there again
