I would go back again
Was in a very good location for access to food and shoping . The beach was wonderful, food was good, breakfast was good for Asin and American. The only complaint was the wifi wasn’t free and if you paid to use it you had to use it in the lobby.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
Had to travel quite a way to take most of the tours. They did come and pick you up at the hotel. About 45 minutes to 1 hour from the airport.

can’t wait to go back
Location of the hotel is very nice. It has a very nice beach. If I go to Phuket again I will definitely stay at Kata Beach Resort.

enjoyed the stay
Was advertised as a four star, but actually is a three star. Some of the hotel staff wasn’t that friendly. The poolside staff was not friendly at all, and seemed more intent on hanging around and talking with fellow employees rather than catering to the customers. The reception staff and especially the ladies that worked at the poolside message were exceptionally friendly and made the whole stay enjoyable. With the exception of the breakfast buffet the food at the hotel restaurants was not very good. The beach was great, very beautiful.
Traveler's tip on dining
Try eating out at some of the local restaurants across the street. At the resort, pay for a lounger down on the beach. It’s cheap and the beer is less expensive than at the poolside bar.
