Stunning location overlooking Lake Windermere
Very old hotel by U.S. standards but very well maintained. Staff was helpful and friendly. The location has a beautiful view overlooking Lake Windermere, the grounds are garden like and provide several areas for sitting and enjoying the view. A very short walk to the lake and boating. Also a short walk to town for restaurants and shopping.
