Convenient and pleasant
The hotel is convenient to virtually all there is to see and do in a redeveloped and redeveloping central Indianapolis. My wife and I spent a week there and felt like we certainly got our Expedia-priced worth from the stay. The hotel has both a dining room and a sports bar & grill. Expect to pay $35-50 for dinner for 2. A group of chain, family-style restaurants is only a block away. There is also a Starbucks and snack food store diagonally across one street. There is plenty of traffic and street noise until sundown, but it calms down afterward. My only complaint is applicable to nearly all large hotels and motels in which I’ve stayed: they should design the door closing mechanisms so that doors will close more quietly. People who come and go near your room at different hours are bound to wake up or annoy anyone sensitive to noise.

University Place Conference Center and Hotel
The hotel offers valet parking if you choose. The entire staff is well mannered, friendly and very professional. I found the room to be very clean and quiet. They have two restaurants as well as a sports bar or if you prefer, room service. Both of my meala were outstanding.The beds we very comfortable with extra pillows if needed. Upon departure, I aksed one of the staff for local driving direction and was given two available routes. This is a very nice facility and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
