Very nice hotel for the money

Stayed for 3 nights. Beautiful view of the area from the balcony.

Not impressed

The front door of our room should have been an indication. Paint scraped off the door and never repainted. Don’t try to get there late and eat or play late...the bar closes early and so does the pool and hot tub! Do they not know that sometimes guest can’t arrive and get settled early! Why stay at a place that has a bar and restarant if you can’t take advantage of them. Someone needs to reconsider.....

Room is spacious, could have been better appointed.

The room is large and the location is good but would like the property to spend more attention to details.

What a view!

Went for a get away weekend for me and my daughter to celebrate her birthday. We got a room with a large balcony that had an beautiful view of the Lake of the Ozarks. We could see for miles. The room was spacious and very nice. My daughter felt very pampered. She enjoyed the pool but they would not let anyone under 16 into the hot tub. that was disappointing to her but rules must be followed. She did come over to feel the water when i was sitting in the tub and immediately got told to get away from the hot tub. She was embarrassed, because she knew she wasn’t doing anything wrong. The grounds are very nice too.

Country Club Yuck!

We were excited as we pulled into hotel drive. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the main building was pretty. It ended there. The rooms were very dated and in need of major repair. My parents room had a leak above the toilet. My husband and I were equally disappointed with our rooms. We had to move rooms because the first one they gave us smelled like a perfume bottle was spilled in there and the room smelled moldy. Tje second room was no better. Paint coming off walls. Carpet was light brown and extremely stained. The room smelled musty. Overall a very "dirty" stay and we would not return or recommend.

Great stay in the Ozarks

The Country Club Hotel and Spa was a great place to stay in the Lake of the Ozarks. Its location on Horseshoe Bend is ideal in that it takes only minutes to get anywhere in the area. The area is quiet, gorgeous, and very peaceful. Accommodations were superior and I would recommend this place to anyone wanting a great stay while in the Ozarks. Only drawback, and not much of one, is there is no view of the lake from the hotel area.

Great shopping mall!

Very nice hotel

Room was very nice and clean. It would be nice if there were a mini-fridge. Very close to Bagnell dam. Not too far from outlet mall. Close to lots of activites(go carts, golf, etc) and restaurants. Hot tub was wonderful! It has an indoor and outdoor pool. It was neat having a TV in the bathroom, but could have better cable channels. Have beautiful grounds! Overall, I would come back again and I enjoyed my stay very much!

New destination

We hadn’t stayed at this hotel before, but we were very pleasantly surprised and will definitely be going back.

Decent hotel with good price

It’s not by the lake but the room was clean and spacious. Unlike other hotels with lake views, there were not a lot of guests in this hotel which was perfect for my family of four -- we got the whole indoor swimming pool with a nice jacuzzi by ourselves. Their outdoor swimming pool was nice, too.

Enjoyed

Nice place, clean, nice indoor pool with lap lanes, , indoor tennis court. It rained most of the time so it was nice to have some of the indoor facilities. The room was clean and nice.

Would definitely stay again

Nice big bedrooms. Huge livingroom and kitchen. Felt like I was staying in a house.

Very old Villa

From the outside of our 3 bedroom Villa, we were impressed. Once you walk in you see very outdated stained furniture, dead bugs on the carpet and some live ones on the wall. The actual bedrooms were ok, many of the window blinds were broken though. The remotes to the TV didn’t work. On the plus side, we had a pool right across from our front door.

If you don’t mind all of my cons, then stay here, it’s not close to the outlet mall either..it’s about a 15 minute drive.

Excellent

Very nice. The best place we’ve stayed at the Lake of the Ozarks. And the food was absolutely excellent (especially the breakfast!).

Wonderful time! My daughter & I needed quality time as mom/daughter and we enjoyed every facility the hotel offered. Messages were fantastic after a week of dance camp & extremely sore muscles & tired bodies!

Best hotel in the area

What a great find. We’ve stayed at several hotels in the area, which are all older and worn out. This was a breath of fresh air! Several activities to entertain the family and a well-kept facility. We had a very large room. We had a little trouble with the TV and someone was right there to fix it. The staff was very friendly. We didn’t have a chance to eat in the restaurant but the prices were reasonable.

Only for the price

I would only recommend for the price. The place is full of dead bugs,(I should be happy they had an extermanator come in) but they should have cleaned up the dead bugs. Rooms needed to be up dated and the bathroom floors and kitchen floors were sticky.

What a nice surprise!!!

We happened upon this hotel during our search and are so glad that we did! We had the best time and this hotel was absolutely awesome!! We will definitely be back again and again. The pool was nice and warm, the hot tub was very relaxing, and we played pool and ping pong all night long. There was something for everyone and it was just what we were looking for - family time, relaxation and comfort. Choose this hotel -you will not be disappointed!!! Oh yea, the food was awesome as well!!!

Great Family Facility

The rooms were really clean, but could use to have some painting done to them from usage. Both the outdoor and indoor pools were fantastic!! The pools were olympic sized, and extremely clean. They have a nice fitness facility. The lounge had very good entertainment, and the drink prices were reasonable for Country Club type of facility. There wireless internet reception was spotty, and you had to sit in the lobby area to get a signal. But for the cost I would stay at this facility again.

Traveler's tip on dining

Do not eat at Diner 54. We received the wrong order for our food, and another one of our meals had a hair in it from the cook.
