We love this place!
We found this place two years ago and were excited to return to it. Its located on a one-block, pedestrian-only street, half a block from a fashionable shopping area, and a short walk from both La Muette and Passy Metro stations. During the day, the block is full of street vendors with fresh produce, meats, baked goods, etc. There is a nice cafe at one end of the block and a mini-mall with grocery store at the other. It is a typical European hotel--rooms are very small, not lush, but clean--and if youre spending more time exploring Paris than sitting in your room, its a great bargain.

A good value for the price!
I enjoyed the neighborhood very much, off the beaten tourist path. There are great restaurants and food shops in the area. The front desk staff is very helpful and friendly, but be prepared for tiny rooms!

Good location, but thats about it.
The rooms are small, but thats to be expected in Europe. However, the hotel staff was incredibly rude. The bed was hard as a rock. They messed up our reservation, I asked for two twin beds and we ended up with one double bed. The bedroom was newer and had been renovated but the bathroom was old and dingy, but clean. They dont have any tv channels in English, whereas most hotels at least have the BBC News channel. Theres also no mini fridge or a safe (for locking up the passports). No amenities at all. However, the location was pretty good. Just a few blocks from the Eiffel Tower and the street the hotel is on is adorable, very Parisian, with a bakery, cheese shop, cafes, butcher shop, where real Parisians shop. So, it was rather nice to experience the way they live. However, an extremely LOUD trash truck comes thru every night and made it impossible to sleep thru without ear plugs. Also, the Air Conditioning didnt work well. Honestly, I wouldnt stay at this hotel again.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
We made the mistake of asking the concierge to call a taxi to take us back to the train station, instead of just standing on the street and hailing a cab ourselves. Well, the drivers start the meter from the time the concierge CALLED them, not from the time they picked us up. By the time we got into the taxi, the fare was already 9 euros!! Such a rip off! Better to just stand on the street and get your own cab.
