Nice Place - Good Rates
My stay at the Hopkins Inn was really a pleasant surprise. The hotel is unique - reminiscent of a mid-level, smaller European hotel. The room was large and clean, the location was safe and several restaurants were within walking distance, and it was really convenient to downtown ($10 cab ride). I would stay there again.

Horrible - Stay away!
Probably one of the worst hotels Ive ever stayed in! I think a Super 8 or Motel 6 would have been better! Maid service only came of of the 3 days I was in the room. Air conditioner was horribly loud. Fan in bathroom was horribly loud (and there was no separate fan/light switch, so if you turned on the light, the fan automatically came on). Nobody is at the front desk after hours (they leave a phone and when you call the number for service, nobody picks up). Parking garage is SCARY. My room was next to the metal roll-up door which also was extremely loud! This is definitely a hotel where you dont even get what you pay for!

Nice furnishings, thin walls
It was nice enough, but the walls were so thin, that folks in the room nextdoor sounded like they were in my lap.
