Good quiet location
My wife and I enjoyed staying at casa del mar. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. We liked the location because it was out of the hustle and bustle of town and was quiet and peaceful.

wonderful time
great location to watch the cruise ships come and go. very friendly and accomdating staff. splurge for the 3rd floor and get a better view of the ocean and ships. gardens lovely. very relaxing stay.

Good hotel for the price. Good service. Good location.
Room was nice size. First day, AC did not work, but they worked on it and got it fixed in an hour or so. Nice staff. Good restaurant recommendations. Restaurant at hotel nice and good food, but not enough variety for many meals. Must cross over bridge to get to small beach and dive shop. Good diving with Del Mar Dive Shop.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Don’t eat in town. Expensive and food not as good as hotel and nearby hotel. Casa Mission is probably the best and cheapest and most interesting restaurant and only a mile from downtown and well worth the drive or taxi ride.
