The resort was awfull. the food was bad. I would never go back.

Not the finest, but it will do.
Buena Vista Beach Resort was a return visit for my boyfriend. The location for fishing is ideal. The pool, bars and patios are comfortable and relaxed. Our room was decent and quiet. Unfortunately we were disappointed by some of the service in the restaurant. Most of the time we did not get the meal we ordered and don’t expect anything quickly (including coffee). Stick to requesting fresh catch from the chef. That is definately their specialty. Watch the boats coming in at the end of day for "catch flags". We traveled at the end of a storm and didn’t have much luck.
Traveler's tip
Bring along a clock. Fishing boats require early risers. Most meals were served buffet style and are scheduled at certain hours.

Clean & Friendly Hotel
I don’t expect the resort in Mexico is that clean before we get there. Restaurant, garden, bedroom, pool.....everywhere is clean. Also, the staffs there are very friendly and helpful. If you like fishing, you will be satisfied with their experienced captains. We are thinking about going back there next year, we like this place.
