Poorly Maintained

My husband and I were house hunting and the Extended Stay was our introduction to the area. The location was very convenient. The people at the front desk were courteous. The room was spacious, but cheaply built. The walls were paper thin and normal noise was magnified. We asked to be moved to the top floor not to hear every step of those above us. There was a puddle on the floor of the next room from a leak in the refrigerator. The bed was very uncomfortable. The sheets did not fit. The pillows were cheap. The iron would only get lukewarm. We found trash from the previous tenants under the bed. The trash can that was on the outside at the front entrance was never emptied during the four days of our stay. It was overflowing very quickly.:(

Traveler's tip on dining

To get a real feel for the Chesapeake Bay area, go to Captain Leonard’s about 20 min. north. The locals love it. They roll out brown paper and bring out steaming crabs.:)

Not impressed

I paid for 6 rooms and they were all supposed to be studio with king size beds and when my colleagues checked in some of the beds were queen size; some were king size. The person on the front desk was not very friendly, never smiled or even say hello. The day before we checked in I went in person to see if I could get six adjoining rooms or even with rooms in the same floor so that we can all be together, and the girl on the front desk said no and never even checked her computer. She was very rude. There were 12 of us and were attending our 45th high school reunion and we wanted to be at least near each other so we can talk easily. This hotel will not get our business in the future.
