Friendly Staff
The hotel was fine in all ways. Comfort, friendliness of staff. The breakfast was a expensive, but they all are at Hilton Hotels. One thing that the management needs to know is that the showers spray water all over the bathroom floor. It is a structural problem and can be fixed. You will need three towels to dry off and dry the floor. The maids know it, but they are powerless to complain. You can imagine how powerless a maid in Central America must be.

There is a great market about a mile from the hotel. All types of great Honduran stuff.

Parking Nightmare
If you are planning to bring your car be aware that the hotel has very little parking and a lot of what they have is reserved for cars that they wont say why, and you can’t reserve a space. The best you can hope for is the security guard help you find a spot. when I was there there was a wedding going on so parking was tight. I got lucky and found one open spot which was a lot better than having to put my car on the stree`t all night.
Traveler's tip on dining
A few blocks from this hotel is a little steak house called El Portal. All the steaks in this restaurant are very good quality. Opt for the mashed potatoes with your meal they are great. If you like beer ask if they have el gallo it is from Guatamala. The owners hometown.
