I Would Stay Here Again
Staff was helpful. We were satisfied with the room, the hotel, and the ammenites. Would stay here again if in the area.
Take the on and off tour on the white trolley in Savannah. You can get off in different areas and then get back on and continue to other areas. Great way to see the city in a day or two.

"Fit for a Queen or King"
The bed in this hotel was very comfortable featuring a foam king-sized mattress. The room was large and spacious with all the expected amenities and then some. The heating and air conditioning worked very well with few adjustments. The best feature and a total surprise was the "continental breakfast" which featured a full course meal (Southern-style). There was even a waffle iron with the best tasting mix ever! A relaxing conversation den and a heated pool topped off a great trip. I highly recommend this hotel.

The breakfast area and lobby were quite nice and very clean. Our issue was with the room itself. Upon arriving on the 3rd floor, the hallway was incredibly hot. The door to our room had not been closed all the way. The AC did not work very well, though they did fix it the next day. When we returned the next day, we found housekeeping had not made sure that our door was closed, and thus anyone could have been in and out of our room all day long-with our belongings in there. We specifically asked the front desk to ensure that staff double check our door. They indicated the door would be fixed and it never was. The hallway never did cool off. A look at the thermostat in the hallway indicated it was set on 82 degrees. The room itself was large though and included a desk and a separate comfortable chair, fridge and microwave. The housekeeper would remove only 1/2 used tolietries and then not replace. On two occasions, our room keys would not work and we had to have the front desk re-key them. The sprinkler right over our bed was falling from the ceiling and was "fixed" it by stuffing cardboard around it. It seemed to fall more and more everyday. Staff was friendly, breakfast was tasty and hot, parking was easy, safe location.
