Will not stay there again!
Actually tried to avoid staying at this hotel as the first experience was not good either, but made a mistake and chose the same hotel as there are 3 hotels right together at this exit and couldn’t remember which one this was, until I pulled up to the entrance....bummer... The pool was green, the desk manager/owner? told me that the electric was off the night before and that he would have to check the pool before it was used...no call back, so I went to check the pool-green scum lined tile, water so dark you could not see the bottom, unlocked gate...so the pool was totally accessible in this condition..the power had to have been off more than just one night... The stair wells, (no elevator- 2 story hotel everyone had to use these stairs) had damaged hand rails covered with some type of spray foam very unattractive. The Continental Breakfast was awful... The orange juice that came from the dispenser was brown. NO fresh fruit, minimal selection, lots of disappointed guests in the dining area. Several negative comments from all present. Just terrible. When I went to checkout the later that am, I had to ring the bell, a woman came looking like she just got out of bed (8:00am) to check me out. I had the impression that the manager & wife lived there as there was a large vegetable garden on the property. Maybe the time spent gardening could not compete with cleaning the pool? Will make sure that I do not stay there again, and will not make this mistake again.
