Wonderful location in Old Brussels
The location of this hotel was wonderful. We were steps away from the Grand Palace and right in the old part of town. The staff, room, and included breakfast were all great! The one negative aspect was that there was no in-room coffee/tea making facilities. I overcame this by taking my thermos (i.e. insulated flask) up to the breakfast room and asking the staff if they could fill it with hot water. They did this without any hesitation. Another slight negative was that there was a shortage of hot water at the weekend, but this too was remedied on Monday.
One tip: If you arrive via Gare du Midi, the easiest way to reach the hotel is by taking the metro to the Bourse metro stop. On the map, its only 1 km to the hotel from the station and you might think, "Great, I love to walk." We did, and we dont recommend it due to the uneven cobblestones. (Your luggage wheels will not be happy...)

Absolutely Disgusting...Dont stay here...
I spent 3 weeks in Europe and stayed in 7 different hotels. This was by far the worst. We requested non-smoking. They dont have such a room. Our room stunk of smoke. Even the towels in the bathroom were unbearable. The front desk person could not have cared less about helping us with any of our requests. Our room was dingy, dark and dirty. As soon as we got there we opened the shades for some light and found someone elses dirty clothes underneath the drapes!!! The hotel was so bad, we actually thought of changing our entire trip to leave Brussels one day early to avoid having to stay in this hole another day.

Pick another Hotel. We paid way too much for this cockroach hotel.

Nice place
Rooms are small but the hotel is centrally located and staff is very friendly. The hotel is clean as are the bathrooms.
Traveler's tip on dining
Lots of family owned restaurants with 5 minutes walk.
