GREAT LOCATION
I am originally from Detroit and was there on a visit. I found the location of the hotel very convenient as you have quick access to I-94 to get into the city and you are near the airport so that you don’t have to go far to get to the airport if you have a rental car to turn in. The hotel also offers shuttle service to take you to and from the airport if you do not have a car. There are restaurants neaby so you son’t have to travel to get something to eat if you don’t want to eat at the hotel. There were participants in town for a soccer tournament staying there while we were there so the lobby area was noisy because of the kids, but the rooms were such that we could not hear them unless we opened the sliding doors to the balcony.. Plan on coming back in June and we will stay here again!!!
Greektown!! Something for everyone and go in the summertime when you can take full advantage of the Riverwalk area!! Real nice!! But make sure you rent a car because there is really not much of a mass transit system until you get downtown and can take advantage of the People Mover..
